My brother and I were here for a weekend vacation, and the hotel was conveniently located near downtown St. Augustine. They offer a free hot breakfast, with orange juice, water, and coffee. The shuttle service was great, which takes you to and from downtown. This place is about 10-15 minutes away from Vilano Beach, which presents a clean atmosphere with excellent waves, making it great for surfing or boogie boarding. The staff was very friendly.

The motor hotel has some nice features. The dog park area is excellent however there is no small dog area. The rooms are clean but very small. The bedding is not great. The breakfast is pretty awful. The coffee is extremely weak, very few options and no fresh items, cheaply done. In fact we didn’t even go in there after the first morning. The dehumidifier in the room is noisy. The location is decent. The most frustrating thing about the hotel is the constant upsells. Parking fee $20 a night for a motor hotel? $10 a day shuttle fee (used to be free). They do sell cold beer in the lobby pretty cheap, Overall, it’s an ok place in a somewhat convenient location to historic St.Augustine.

I love that we have the ground floor because we’re a couple of seniors and we have our parking right in front of our room. The room was very clean, the floor was wood and very clean. Housekeeping was very efficient. The breakfast buffet was nice and fresh. The staff was nice and friendly. I think we got excellent service for the price that we paid which was really reasonable. We prepaid for transportation which was very economical because we didn’t have to worry about parking and also very convenient. We only asked the front desk to call us the shuttle and we got transported to the Trolley parking area. Overall experience was great and awesome. Very pleasant experience for this senior couple.

Nice for a one-night stay vice having to drive 4+ hours back home at 8:30 PM. The $22.30 charge for overnight parking seems excessive. I left before breakfast so I can't comment on it.
