This place overchaged me- I was supposed to get the Expedia rate of $340.32 for 4N5D but my credit card was charged $429.52. When I called Expedia about this, they claim I got a refund from Souther Oaks Inn on Aug 11 for $xx.x but after checking my cc account for Aug, Sept, Oct & Nov, no credit showed up. So beware. Plus I had to pay for bar shop & buy a drain for tub. Otherwise ok.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Terrible TV reception. I wasn"t too fond of the liquid soaps available in the shower. I thought the outdoor railing on the stairway was dirty & in need of a fresh paint job. Breakfast was pretty good, but the coffee was terrible.

Enjoyed the stay didnt try the breakfast buffet. My only real complaint was there was no bar/lounge, as advertised. I did not like paying for parking on site, in motel parking lot.

Very good stay absolutely loved it. They have free breakfast. Clean rooms and a shuttle that can take to the historical district as well as the beach at a low cost. Absolutely do not regret staying here on our vacation.

Whilst everything was clean upon our arrival, you will notice that the hotel itself is outdated and the rooms look a bit unsettling as well as very loud due to some kind of dehumidifier that is in the bathroom. The parking is also an additional cost which we did not account for. Otherwise everything was great, the shuttle transportation was convenient and the drivers were lovely as well as the front desk staff. Definitely close to many attractions which was convenient.
