The hotel was in an ideal location HOWEVER the room booked and paid for was a one bedroom king suite with kitchen and we were given a king suite with kitchenette. Not what I wanted, expected or use to when I book Hyatt House! The cleaning service was horrible. The room was not cleaned properly and was only partially cleaned on Saturday and on Sunday only the main was bed partially made. The bathroom was not cleaned. No clean towels provided. The pull out bed was not made. The dishes were not washed. Very unlike the brand. Will not book Hyatt House downtown Tampa again unfortunately

Fantastic place to stay in downtown

Amazingly clean. Beautiful big rooms that dont look or feal like a typical hotel. Everything is just so nice. The service was very good. Most of the employees we interated with were extreamly pleasant. The location os basically perfect. Walking distance to so much and right around the corner from a trolley stop for everything else. No complaints. Have stayed here before and will again.

Beware surprise Parking Fee $40

What a shame! As i booked nothing mentioned an extra $40 parking fee or i would have stayed at airport for the difference. Upon telling Kara (receptionist "no longer works there conveniently " she ended up telling me she would not charge the parking fee for my troubles and not being told this) she convinced me to stay and not go somewhere else. Of course i find out that they still charged me and upon calling Manager Lisa M (asssuming she gave me her real name) did not show concern or helped me with this at all. She said she will not remove the fee, and that Kara didnt work there anymore. Thats convinient. So now i have to dispute with my bank. Wont be staying here again. I wasnt even put in the room i booked!!!!!! And i didnt complain even though i payed extra for the corner big windows.
