The fire alarm went off twice while we were in the hotel, 1st time was 6.40am and again at 10.30pm. The last time it was dark, when we came out of the hotel we couldn't see thankfully someone had a light on their phone!!! They were both false alarms, apparently due to a fault in the system. Hopefully a light will be put buy the door of the emergency exit. Other than that we had a good time at Norwood Hall, as always.

Beautiful hotel close to city centre

Location: Despite being in the city, Norwood Hall, is situated in expansive gardens and is quiet and secluded.

This was our first visit to Norwood Hall Hotel and what a delight it was ! We received a warm welcome and were shown to a spacious comfortable bedroom. We went straight out to visit family and when we returned, we had a chance to fully appreciate the wonderful history of what was originally a beautiful stately home. It was a real privilege to be able to stay there. The staff were very friendly and happy to share their knowledge of the house. The bed was superbly comfortable and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast the next morning. I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this hotel.

Ein Hübsches Hotel im Altenstiel

Ein hübsch gestaltetes Hotel im alten Stiel. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Die Zimmer sind leider moderner eingerichtet und nicht wie der Rest des Hotels typisch schottisch. Das Essen war leider etwas enttäuschend.
