For a 4* hotel I would have expected the room to be in better condition. Carpet badly marked all over, bed was terrible, could feel the springs and very uncomfortable. Room was in dire need of an update. Bedroom furniture very old fashioned. Bathroom needs stripped out and replaced. There was obviously ceramic tiles in the floor and they have put lino on top of it. Badly positioned toilet roll holders, when using the toilet. Shower needs an update. In all it was a horrible room, with the worst nights sleep. If you can call it that. Thankfully only booked for 1 night to attend a gig. On the plus side, the woman who checked us in was lovely.
Very convenient location. Bathroom could do with a bit of a spruce around bath area. Breakfast was fantastic highky recommended it. Staff all cery friendly and polite.

Very tired Hotel.
Room clean but very old fashioned. Our room had possibly 2 bathrooms situated above which left nothing to the imagination when being used.
One of these Bathrooms had a leak which started to drip into our room and the carpet looked like this was not the first time that this had happened. When we complained it appeared that the maintenance team were already aware of it .

I booked this hotel for the convenience to the Music Hall in Union St. We were upgraded to a deluxe room, it was fine but hardly deluxe. The floor lamp and the lamp on the desk did not work, there was a hole in the white window covering and a brown stain on the carpet beside the table/2 chairs. Did enjoy the breakfast. Would stay again but nice if these wee niggles were sorted as part of routine maintenance.
We had a great stay in the beautiful Wallace suite. Breakfast was buffet style and was really good. Can't fault the hotel at all. Would definitely stay again.
