All of the staff were amazing and so friendly...Bianca you were a superstar bringing out the stripped teapot lid for my cousin when she had the white teapot instead of the strippy colourful one 😀 The hotel was relaxed and close enough to the city centre to walk everywhere but in a nice quiet location. Would definitely return and recommend the hotel to anyone that doesn't have mobility issues.

Staff friendly & professional. Breakfast good. Room ok but a little bare. Bed very uncomfortable - mattress needs replacing.

quaint room with a lovely view at the back

Pros: It was very quiet, and everyone was very friendly. Rooms had lots of character!
Cons: Facilities in the bedroom washroom could use updating. Information that is time sensitive (meals and check-out) should be posted in the bedroom.
Location: We walked everywhere and found the location to be very convenient.
The hotel was an easy walk from the train. The back yard is lovely! The rooms are quaint and unique. Afternoon staff was friendly and happy to provide directions and talk about the area.
