we had the economy double roomwhich was too small really,but considering the price £50 inc breakfast, we feel that we cant complain. it was clean quiet and comfy. we used thhe rest of the facilities and really enjoyed our stay, location is great for walking along the coast with plenty of beach bars nearby

I booked an ocean view room for one night. I was booked into one of the larger rooms with a great view. I had a fabulous pizza for lunch. They've changed the menu since I was last here and it looks good!

The staff sent me to the wrong room upon arrival. There was a woman in the room sleeping and she let out a blood curdling scream. I was mortified. Went back down to reception and it turned out that they had not updated the paperwork. The correct room number was in the system. This was to be an 8 day break for me. Prior to arriving, I contacted the hotel to see if I could PAY for an upgrade to an ocean view room. Prices online had dropped so much that the ocean view double was close to the same price as what I paid for my room. The reservations advised that I it would be an extra £35 per day which was the cost of a new reservation. She then advised that because I did not book directly through them the best they could do was this price. I understand that prices online go up and down but I have been a regular customer and have never had an issue in the past. I did notice that new staff have come on board and I am not sure if it is because they have no experience with hospitality or lack tact, but what a disappointing experience. Overhearing staff talking about guests and staff giving out the wrong information is not good hospitality.

Spent over £200 for one night. Went to check In and told not staying in this hotel staying in suncliff! Staff wasn't bothered told me I was getting 'upgraded total lie.

Very relaxing

Pros: Our room with the sea view. The dinning room and bar area.
Cons: I don't think that there is much you would need to change. The food could have been a bit warmer.
Location: Great location near beach and not far from pier.
