Not the place to stay in Bournemouth

You need to level with your clients when they book. Either up the booking rate by £ 6.00 per night, or stop hassling the guests when they book out. I do not expect to have to pay for parking if I am a guest, and being asked to pay £ 12.00 for two nights parking is to say the least impolite. Would I refer friends and colleagues to you? Not unless you change your attitude.

Loved our room it was penthouse called William. Breakfast for the £12.00 each was terrible as there was nothing left on our last day. We asked for more sausages, bacon and hash browns, but was just not answered by the server. He just looked through my husband. We complained and got £12.00 off our bill.

Great stay for a short break

We had a great stay, we didn't realise parking wasn't included free, so this wasn't clear until we arrived and considering the difficulty parking, the fee per day was quite excessive. Staff were pleasant and helpful. It was good to have links with the two hotels either side. We had a lovely room, but in general the hotel does need a little TLC, particularly the outside seating (so uncomfortable) which is why we used the hotels either side for sitting outside on warm days. For the size of the hotel, it really does need more than one lift.

If you’re planning to book this hotel, think again. We booked for 4 days but there was barely enough parking space, guests were fighting over spots, and the hotel charges £12 a night for parking, paid on arrival. Poor sanitation too – our bedroom toilet wouldn’t flush properly, there was no fridge or iron in the room. The restaurant service was far from impressive, and a staff member even brought a dog near the food. I’m a dog lover but not everyone is. Overall, the service was poor and definitely not worth your stay in Bournemouth.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Suncliff Hotel and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcomed — friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The service throughout our stay was consistently excellent. The hotel’s location is perfect — just steps away from stunning coastal views and close to plenty of local attractions. It was the ideal spot to relax and explore. The rooms were comfortable and well-kept, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and inviting. Whether we were enjoying breakfast with a sea view or unwinding in the lounge, every moment felt effortless and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a seaside escape with great service and a prime location, we highly recommend the Suncliff Hotel.

It’s very conveniently located next to the beach and offers good access to the beach. It is an old property and lot of things do look aged. The rooms are clean and has required amenities. The gym is non existent and has some rusted weights and old treadmills. Pool looks better. The rooms, lift and stairways have old musky odour. I had paid for breakfast and requested for an early breakfast as I was leaving early for work and the front desk staff promised it will be provided but when I went down to the restaurant no one was aware on 2 consecutive days and some of the staff at the restaurant were upfront rude and dismissive. This put me off the whole experience. Horrible way to behave with customer and even after requesting for breakfast on 2 days the service and communication was extremely poor. They even charged me for a breakfast tray which was never delivered. Not going to stay here again.
