Great experience, though the nightclub was loud!

A lovely stay in an excellent location in Brighton, close to everything required. Parking is a little expensive in Brighton so we parked at Buzz Bingo and walked down. Sadly the more expensive rooms on the water front are a little vulnerable to the loud nightclub below, so we didn't get much sleep on Sunday evening (bank holiday) but Monday night was fine. Be wary of this, as those rooms are more expensive and it is disruptive, though not the hotels fault. The staff were excellent.

Broken sink in the bathroom, you don't expect that if you're paying for an executive room. All around the fridge area it was so hot so either the fridge was faulty or the cupboard casing had no ventilation. The hot breakfast was poor scrambled eggs were not and the mushrooms were tinned and tasteless. Bread fruit and cereal was all ok. The room seemed clean and tidy. Staff were friendly enough.

We stayed in a family room with 2 king size beds. The room and bathroom was very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent value for money with plenty of choice for us and the children. Excellent location close to all of the main attractions. Only negatives were our room was on the back of the hotel above the exit to the lanes and there was a lot of noise/coughing at night we suspect from rough sleepers. We would request a sea view room next time. Also the beds and pillows were a little hard for us but that’s just down to personal choice. Other than that we had a lovely stay.

This was our first time staying at the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. There was no issue when we needed to change our room, due to an unpleasant smell in our original room.

Good beachfront location but not the best stay.

Just one night. Beds were comfortable. No armchairs. TV very hard to get to channels from Guide which in itself took an age to achieve. Very convenient location. Overall not a bad choice of hotel but there was nothing that would drive us to stay there again.

Good location

Hotel was good, location was great and breakfast had a good variety. The hotel while nice is looking tired and could do with a lift. The pool could be cleaner and spa facilities should be updated. Staff are all great, very professional and friendly. Breakfast was good with excellent variety to suit all but the juices are either super sweet or so watered down that it doesn’t taste of juice. I wanted to treat wife to a spa treatment but website was not helpful in this regard. Not sure if it was this week’s receptionist or last week when my wife stayed but last week she stayed and order bathrobe with slipper and it was £5. This stay it was £15, don’t know why such difference and no explanation was offered. Other than that, it’s a lovely hotel with lots to offer and great location.

the hotel is a perfectly acceptable standard. It’s a little old here and there but the facilities are fine. The staff were excellent in all my interactions with them. Location was very good, for access to the lanes and the pier and waterfront. The beach front in general and the appearance of the hotel are a little shabby. Parking was very expensive but you get a very good discount through the hotel if you pay at reception.
