Lovely place to stay

Very nice clean comfortable room with much needed air conditioning. The food was nice and the wine too. Friendly accommodating staff.

Did what i wanted

I only really came here to get out of the heat. And succeeded. Not that much to see in the surrounding area. Pub and restaurant is good. My only miss-giving was that the menu does not give you the serving times, non that i could see anyway.

Have to say the air con was a huge plus as we stayed on one of the hottest weekends of the year so far (31+ outside) the room was spacious, well equipped for what we needed.

Room was very basic but clean. Beds comfortable. No safe in room. Staff very friendly. Breakfast is nice but bread and pastries all left uncovered and flies everywhere. We mentioned this a couple of times but it fell on deaf ears. The hot drinks machine kept coming up with filter needs changing but was told to cancel the message. A busy place. Suited our needs at the time but would not stay again.
