Staff very welcoming, even with it being busy with check-ins, still got walked to the room. The room was very clean and tidy, little issue with kettle but all rectified very quickly. Great place to stay and get a good night's sleep in a comfy bed.

We loved our stay at Haymarket Hotel. We loved the decoration and heritage details. The breakfast room was STUNNING and the food amazing - so much many delicious choices. Great location especially for walkers like us. And easy walk to Princes st. We even walked to Edinburgh Castle and on to Carlton Hill and back to the hotel. Lots of eateries nearby. Highly recommend this hotel.

The staff were excellent especially the fellow who checked us in. Good price and close to Dean Village and Prince Street. The map, suggestions and free drink were a nice added touch. Cons were that the bathroom door didn’t lock, there wasn’t any hair conditioner or face cloths. But maybe that’s a UK thing as we keep travelling and finding out.

The Haymarket Hotel is a lovely place to stay in a quiet neighborhood, but just a short distance to all Edinburgh has to offer. The room was clean and cozy. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The buildings are all so beautiful and inviting. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit!

Clean rooms. Staff were very helpful. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby and easy access to transportation. The only issue is there are no elevators if you have a lot of luggage but the staff will help you carry luggage if needed.
