Fantastic hotel in a great location.

On arrival to the hotel we parked up in a safe carpark off the road. Included car parking was a must for us when we were searching for hotels. We were greeted by friendly staff members who offered to help with any number of things, including recommending places for us to have dinner, things to do etc. Our room was lovely, clean and although right at the front of the building closest to the road, we heard very little road noise. Bathroom was spotless and the heated floor was so lovely. Our view was also surprisingly nice, beyond the road and the houses opposite was amazing glimpses of mountains and we got to experience amazing sunsets and sunrises. We had breakfast included in our stay and the food was always cooked amazingly with quite a good selection of hot food to order from and then a buffet style continental. We didn't eat at the restaurant for dinner due to the limited vegetarian options but the restaurant always looked nice and once again we heard very little noise of people coming and going. The location of the hotel is great, we walked into Edinburgh every day of our stay and never found the walk too far, about 30 minutes at a slow pace to stop and look at things. This is a gorgeous looking hotel that really helps you relax after a busy day exploring Edinburgh, would highly recommend.

Awesome and romantic hotel

We stayed in this hotel for two night in March 2014. We stayed in the Blue room, it was fantastic, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast very much too! The hotel was a little bit far from the centre of town but still you can have a nice walk. Highly recommended!! Staff were all very welcoming and friendly.

Very nice hotel directly located at the bus stop from the airport and to town. Rooms are very clean and cozy, bath room rather small, but it had everything we needed. Breakfast can be chosen from continental or scottish, leaves nothing to be desired. Diner menu excellent. As most guests are eldery, they as we also would prefer more higher tables and chairs.

Schöne typische Schottland-Villa (Hotel) in Stadt und Flughafennähe.
