The hotel is in a good location, close to Harrogate centre. My single room was small, but bathroom was fine. But the heating didn't work properly - had to ask for a portable heater in the night as it was so cold.

Property downstairs and outside was lovely, real old building and keeping in character. The bar was lovely and frontage really good. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful Unfortunately the bar and restaurant were not open due to staff shortages, so this was very disappointing as we tend to go out all day but like to stay in at night. However the reception gave us free parking plus complimentary breakfasts for our stay due to this, which was a great customer service. Only negative was the rooms were very tired, and we booked executive room, which I’m sure was just a standard by any other hotels we have stayed in. Saying that we had a nice stay and the hotel is in a great position
