Room had been recently refurbished (except for the woodwork) and was very clean. Excellent location right on the sea front. Public areas were tired and unappealing. Staff were very nice.

Good location although the hotel in some of the public areas is looking tired. Staff were great and helpful. Rooms were clean but did not look much like the pictures

Seafront rooms are very noisy due to traffic and as no air con, if you open the window, be prepared for a sleepless night ! Also very small car park which is always full so I asked staff where I could park as had bad knee and was told to find a space on seafront for £1 and hour or the car park opposite which is max 4 hours at a time so had to park 3/4 mile away in multi storey only to find that hotel let other guest park in hotel front area which didn’t help me and the £24 I’d just spent on car park and very long walk, just a misunderstanding between staff but no further help, also left open the cleaners cupboards and linen cupboards which had big signs - fire door keep locked, being a die safety officer I complained to receptionist only to be told not to worry about it as they are always left open ! So, summary - unhelpful staff with parking arrangements, not a lot of sleep and unfamiliar with their own fire safety arrangements - won’t be going back there again, and to top it all off, ebookers overcharged me by £40 and wouldn’t refund so I’m cancelling my Acount with them and won’t use them again !

The location is not bad. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke. The breakfast was not good enough for a 3 star hotel. Weak coffe and bland food. Premier Inn has a far superior breakfast.
