The hotel is literally what it says it's somewhere to lay your head basic but suitable clean and quiet basic continental breakfast staff polite and helpful

Bizarrely given a family room when I booked a double. Having a bunk bed above the double was not what I expected. Needs more sockets, particularly near the bed as therewasn'tt one and another didnt work at all. Would be good if there were tea/ coffee making facilities in the room too. Clean and ok for short stay. Convenient for shopping centre and bus/ train stations.

We didn’t even get a bathroom, i was sharing this hotel room with one of my friends of the opposite gender and expected a private bathroom. I paid £140 for the hotel and the shower was basically in the middle of the room and so was the sink. The toilet was in a private room that’s it. We checked out and got a different room in another hotel so that we had some privacy. This was non-refundable and a complete waste of money im very disappointed.

I really do not know how to put it. Let me start by saying that the room was stale. As soon as I lied on the bed I started itching all over. It felt that small dust particle all over. My daughter had a astma attck. Since she is astamatic she had her medicine. I wouldsay the room given to us was cleaned ages ago and had become stale. The hotel should provide te day the room was aireated and cleaned.

It was an ok stay nice and cheap but at 7:30am the fire Alarm went off for a test and woke us up which we are not happy about and wasn’t told about when we checked in the night before

Budget stay

Staff were very nice and helpful. No kettle in the room so i had to go down to the lobby for hot water everytime i wantwd a drink. No onsight parking, they do have an arrangement with a local private car park which cost us £8.50 to park overnight. We then had to walk about 10 minutes from the car park to the place. You can pull up outside the hotel and check in, then go park the car so you dont have to carry all your bags. It is a double yellow but the staff assured us we will be ok to park while we check in. It was clean, the beds were a little firm but we were able to get to sleep in them. Lots of places to order food from, we used deliveroo and got money off for using the app for the first time

The ibis is very we’ll located and close to everything, everything is 5-12 minutes walk away. we also had a slight security issue, on speaking to the security guard he made me and my daughter feel very safe and accompanied us to our room and delt with the issue immediately, this security issue should have no reflection on the hotel as this could have happened anywhere it was delt with very well and we was put at ease straight away. Staff are lovely and very clean inside the rooms
