The staff were lovely but the choice of wine and food was very limited, the noise continued throughout the night as revellers enjoyed the nightlife! The room was spacious and clean.

I had to request a change of room, as the toilet stank and the bedding had stains on the quilt and pillow case. The room i got moved to wasn't much better with dirty tiles in the bathroom and the most uncomfortable mattress i have slept on, and one of the easiest things to get wrong... they gave me a broken room key. The fire door in the corridor didnt close, and the button to allow exit to reception didnt work - very unsafe.

Great location, some issues with both rooms One issued was an awful smell coming from the bathroom drain identified just after we checked in and although we were offered a new room we were late for an appointment so couldn’t do that but the issue identified wasn’t looked at The other room the door you could lock from the inside and one of the windows didn’t open

A pleasant stay all round.

Staff very pleasant, great breakfast, room was quiet and comfortable. An easy walk for me from the railway station. The only slight downside was there was only one small drawer in which to put your stuff.

Location was good both for railway station and city centre. We had a good view as our room was on 7th floor. The room was quite simple but enough. The bed was very comfortable and we liked the bathroom layout with walk- in shower and a good nonslip floor. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice and fresh hot food. Staff very friendly throughout. Unfortunately there was a horrible strong smell in the bathroom a bit like ammonia. The hairdryer didn't work and we reported it on the first day but still not resolved by the time we checked out 2 days later.
