Good central location. Room a little tired but clean. Breakfast was good but chefs were loudly debating politics in kitchen Stairs out of action but sign saying don't use the (smelly) lift in event of fire !!!!??? the cleaners were excessively loud in the hallway shouting and dragging equipment between rooms (sounded like approaching train) at 8am - 10am waking us up. Never heard anything like it in a hotel. Mentioned in many feedbacks so hotel must be OK with it ?? this changes score from a 6.5 to a 4

I stayed here because of the price. But I was really surprised by the cleanliness of the room. Not a single hair on the floor. Good shower with strong water pressure and clean towels were also nice. I didn't order breakfast this time but I'll really like to try it the next time.

Check in and check out were quick and easy. Room was small but comfortable. Sink and shower were very slow to drain. Breakfast was strange. Waited for waiter to come and take breakfast order but I had to go and hunt him down and request it after waiting for nearly ten minutes. I went and made toast and had a couple of coffees while I was waiting. It took quite some time for the cooked breakfast to arrive by which point I didn't really want it anymore.

Unfortunately, my stay did not meet expectations. The room was not the same as shown in the photos, which was disappointing. There was no proper heating—only a small electric heater, which was not sufficient. The carpet was dirty and stained, and the room had an unpleasant smell. The window could not be opened properly, making it difficult to get enough fresh air. Additionally, the staircase of the property was under renovation, which affected the overall experience. On a positive note, the staff was friendly and polite, which I appreciated.
