They gave a room which had disgusting bath tub and asked me to stay by putting Mat on it, thier staff was complaining about General Manager that he asked them to assign that room to guests finally after insisting yo speak with their GM roght away they agreed to change to different room but all other things were good. I spoke to general manager he was good and responded promptly so not sure who was fault

I would not recommend Wingate by Wyndham in Niagara Falls, NY based on my recent stay. From check-in to check-out, the experience fell short of what I would expect from a Wyndham property. The check-in process immediately set the tone. Instead of a warm welcome, the front desk staff felt cold and unaccommodating. Even though I had already checked in through their online portal and uploaded my ID for a supposedly “faster check-in,” the staff insisted on seeing my ID again. It made me wonder what the point of uploading documents beforehand was if they weren’t actually used. There was no effort to explain anything about the property or even offer a friendly greeting. Instead, the staff asked for my car’s plate number, which I didn’t provide since I wasn’t driving. Rather than resolving it smoothly, he turned to his colleague, saying my reservation indicated I had a car, something I never entered in the first place. The whole interaction felt mechanical and unfriendly. When I asked about breakfast, instead of explaining the details, the staff just handed me a small piece of paper and dismissed me with a vague “you can go up to your room.” It didn’t feel welcoming at all, and as a guest, I felt like I was more of an inconvenience than someone they wanted to assist. The property itself also had issues. During my stay, one of the elevators was broken, which caused long waits for the only working elevator. On top of that, the key tap function to access your floor wasn’t working pr

Rooms were clean. But the property needs some renovation like rusted shower heads and chipped vanity mirrors needs change. Bathrooms were out of shampoos and I am not sure how the room was prepped ready without checking on the supplies. The room we stayed need the door shaved, was hard to open and shut. Looks like there was attempted fixing the door but it still was not completely done. Otherwise the property location is great and convenient parking and good breakfast.

Pros: Bigger room area, clean, fresh, no bad, stuffy smell. Restroom is big and clean. Cons: Only one small hook in Restroom, need more to hang clothes. Need racks in Restroom to keep grooming stuffs. Only one chair for sitting in the room, uncomfortable for 2nd person, though hotel staff gave one extra chair upon request. But overall, this hotel is very good, I recommend this hotel. I will book this one again if I go to Niagara .

The first room was not clean. The floor had something sticky on it and the toilet would not flush due to a bar of soap in it. The room phone was broken. The next room they gave us was like someone had just smoked a cigarette in it even though it was a non smoking room. Lucky I had air sanitizer with me as this all took place after driving 8 hours to get there. I was exhausted and was not pleased

No uSB port in the room but had them on hall lamp. Only 1 working elevator and tub stopped up. Hotel full of oversea clientele that weere EXTREMELY rude to other patrons and staff with no recourse.

Positive: Spacious room. Good, simple breakfast. Easy parking. Easy check in and out. Negative: Only 1 of 2 elevators was functioning at the time of stay. The 1st Floor button of the functioning elevator had to be pressed real hard to work. Bathroom essentials were not refilled.
