Fab stay. Nice comfy bed. Cosey room and very clean... altho the room 37 ground floor i would personally replace and block up half the window over the bath/shower that overlooked the beer garden. Even thou there was a blind it was a little mouldy from the shower . Food nice. staff great... deffo stay there again and great value for money.

Room very comfortable, food good quality and value for money ,staff warm and welcoming shower in our room could do with a bit more power or a new head

Nice hotel and lunch was lovely, most of the staff were polite but could be more friendly. everything was fine until Sun morning breakfast - we went down for breakfast at 09:00 as we had to leave ay 10:15 to travel back to yorkshire. there were a lot of tables either not set or still with used pots on so we sat at a table and waited and waited for someone to set the table and take our order but after 30mins we had to ask someone to set the table, which they did and asked for someone to take our order so we waited and waited and after another 20mins no one came so we decided to leave without any food. There was one waitress on and 1 man on reception who was assisting her when possible. whilst we were waiting the table next us asked for their toast as they had finished their breakfast but was given a 'can't you see I am busy' stern reply and as she walked away she said 'help would be a fine thing' which was a disgusting attitude. As we checked out we complained about the service and attitude and asked to speak to the manager who was arriving at 10am - at 10:15 he still had not arrived so we had to leave.
