Our stay at The Remont

The welcome and staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good a choice of hot and cold food. The room was in need of decorating, grubby walls and paintwork, the bathroom wasn’t as clean as I would like, hairs on the window sill and in the shower tray. The bed was extremely clean and comfortable and we slept well. Towels provided were lovely and soft. Tea and coffee and 2 bottles of water and biscuits were provided, a suitcase stand and small wardrobe. I think it’s a good budget hotel for an overnight stay and they also provide free parking which is always helpful. The staff member was extremely friendly.

The staff were lovely. The room was nothing special. It is not a four star hotel standard - no air con, kettle that did not have a long enough lead to be used on the dressing table. However the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice and there was a garden area to sit. The staff were helpful about letting us leave the car there before check-in. The location suited us - good for Oxford and for getting to Blenheim

This was a wonderful property! The owner/manager met us when we arrived. He was very professional and friendly. Parking was great. The room was perfect: clean and fully stocked with supplies. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with a wide selection of choices. I would definitely stay here again!

Ok stay, but could be much better with little twea

Wouldn't say 4*, more like a 2/3*. A bit tired. Walks need a paint. Booked a superior room which was on the top floor, no sign of a lift. Bed was firm, I prefer softer. Same with the pillows. Air con good, tea/coffee facilities in room were very basic. Nescafé coffee and PG tips are the worst options in my opinion. Curtains are not blackout, woken up by the sunshine every morning at 5am. Breakfast was not bad, good full English although it's got to be Heinz ketchup or HP brown sauce, not the tangy stuff they give you. Staff were very friendly. Free parking is great. Overall it was ok but I won't be returning. To many negatives for me.

We had a very nice stay. The room was much larger than we expected for a triple and the breakfast was delicious. Parking was tight in the front lot but apparently there is additional parking if needed. Would recommend.
