Every thing was excellent, except the water wasn’t hot in the morning. I did tell the front desk so it could be attended to. One small thing would help in the bathroom, this would be a having / makeup/ contact lens mirror in order to see at close up range

Comfortable hotel ideally situated on Skye

Pros: Comfort. Great food.
Cons: The quilt was much too heavy making sleeping difficult.
Location: Local walk along the river to ancient burial ground. Portree is a small pretty town.
We stayed in this same hotel 26 years ago and though it's now under different management, we remembered it for its great location. Now a beautifully renovated hotel with a superb restaurant. Lovely local walks and walks further afield. Skye itself can't be beaten for scenery.

Nice welcome and information given.

Cons: Lighting was insufficient, especially in my room, couldn't see to read.
Location: Easy to find and lots of walking available, golf course if wanted
Relaxing and comfortable and good food and service. What more does one need!

Superbe établissement situé à 8 km de Portree! Calme, discret et situé en bord de mer. Service impeccable et une excellente barmaid désireuse de faire découvrir les whiskys et gins de la région.

Wundervolle Lage, sehr schönes Gebäude, zuvorkommendes und höfliches Personal, wunderschöne Zimmer, Essen tiptop, Einrichtung klassisch und passende. Wermutstropfen: WLAN nur in der Lobby, kein Handy-Empfang.

Amazing hotel with great location

Pros: Just everything
Cons: Nothing indeed
Location: Perfectly located in Skye, it offers easy access to most sites worth a visit
As the address of the hotel is misleading, I thought I would be in Portree and was a bit worried to have to drive more to reach the hotel ! To no avail. The hotel is greatly located, is just beautiful, with perfect welcome, and offers delicious cuisine
