Pleasant experience - relatively good value, and staff were friendly upon arrival. The is no air con in the rooms (only a unit that mainly heats but does not cool the room) which is the reason for the lower score - desk fans are available on a first come first served basis (didn't take advantage of this, as only read the notice in the lift on my final nights stay).

Lovely 3* budget hotel

Ibis is 3* budget hotel and as such, in my opinion, it is a nice hotel. It is close to train and bus stations. Staf at the reception was helpful and friendly. My room was functional and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was one of a “pod/container” type. It felt a bit strange with bathroom floor higher than room floor. But it was clean and I liked the shower. I’m a light sleeper so I was worried about street and hotel noises but my room was very quiet so I got a good sleep. There is no air conditioning in the room but as I stayed in April and I was able to open window, I found room temperature just right for me. I liked this hotel and would stay again although I feel, Ibis would benefit from air conditioning in the summer.
