The member of staff who checked me in was friendly and helpful. The bedding was dirty. I used the quilt cover as a sleeping bag. No tea making facilities. Shared bathrooms were grubby and no toilet paper.
My request to change rooms was ignored, the bathroom was not functional and I had to request a towel despite telling me you would sort it. Your suggestion that I used the shared bathroom was not what I paid for, and there was no toilet seat attached and the room was filthy. I have taken alternative accommodation for my third night and would like a refund .OYO and hotels.com should pursue them for brand destruction.

I was expecting a pub type accommodation, with the possibility of some kind of refreshments and not a palace , this place is an absolute dump!!
How on earth this is placed on Expedia is beyond me .

Even the locals joke you must be brave to stay there.
Hotels.com should be ashamed to put this place on display
I knew I was booking the cheapest room near Heathrow so I wasn’t expecting much from my stay. However, the Swan Inn managed to disappoint. The lowlights include; a room that was far too warm, dirty sheets, a hard mattress with a single pillow, the door was awkward and locks only half the time, the bathroom was filthy and the walls were so thin I could hear my neighbours snoring through my noise cancelling headphones. Also of note, the pub attached closes at 8:30 (Thurs) so you can’t even have a pint. Avoid unless you are broke and desperate.

It was terrible. This “bed & breakfast” was booked and prepaid around 9h30 pm and reached a little past 10 pm. Only to discover that place was locked up, Pitch dark and unmanned. A doorbell did not work or gave no reply. Hotels.com did only respond by AI - completely useless. Local bypassers claimed that the place was run by criminals and a complete scam. Should be deleted from website asap. No suppiråø

Please do NOT ever consider sleeping at this place. It is complelety unsanitary, this meaning dirty stained sheets, pillows and duvet covering a body fluid, infested, filth ridden mattress underneath. Shared bathroom for 11 separate rooms on the upstairs of a Public House, The Swan. We walked in and was instantly made very welcomed by the handful of locals. We check the room and realised instantly that being paid a million pounds wouldnt be enough to stay here!! The locals downstairs however are the most kindest, caring, funny people I have ever met. A local couple, in the pub allowed us to stay at their house with them for our 2 day stay and we will be friend's for life.

The room did not even have a wash basin which was outside in a communal area which also provided access to the separate toilet and shower. The electric fan heater in the room didn’t work so it was cold. They didn’t serve breakfast so I had to find somewhere else.
Only redeeming quality of the property was the proximity to the airport, and the lovely village. Damage to the ceiling above one bed, looked like it could fall through any time. Stains on the bedsheets, and on wall. Shared bathroom did not have a working sink in the toilet, had to use the sink out in the communal area (tap was loose). Inside room, the windowsill had damage and peeling paint. Electrical socket was broken and a safety hazard. Door lock system looked nice and modern, but wouldn't stand up to more than a heavy push. Even for a budget stay, this was worse than expected. Couldn't stay, and left to find another property last minute. Would appreciate a refund, probably left it cleaner than when we arrived, as we wiped down the handles...
We booked one of our staff for 19 nights, on the first night he was shocked at the condition of the property. The walls were dirty and the door was covered in greasy hand marks. We requested he was moved to another room and the manager confirmed that the room was not that bad. In essence the room was disgusting and he left. The hotel has refused to refund the remaining 18 days and we are currently in discussions to get a full refund. Expedia has been useless in responding to our requests although we sent photos showing the condition of the room.
I would not recommend Expedia to anyone and have contacted a solicitor who will now proceed to recoup our money.
This hotel is still on the website and I wouldn’t put my dog in there.
