I liked the history of the property, the location, the bar and dining facilities and the general layout was interesting with additional buildings connected by walkways. The staff were very helpful and polite. I would definitely use this hotel again.

The hotel was amazing. The room and bathroom were very spacious (the biggest hotel room I have ever stayed in). The staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel’s location is ideal for exploring York, with the city centre only a 10-minute walk away. The only downside I can think of is that the bath drain smelled a little funky, but I think that’s fairly normal for historic buildings, especially on the ground floor. We will definitely stay there again if we visit York in the future. Highly recommended.

Well there cosy and there cosy my like a cell 35 car parking space for 56 room so could be disappointed more than happy to take your money for spot that's not even available and if do manage to secure one no guarantee when you return Car park close by 25.50 for day On plus side breakfast was really good all fresh prepared to order
