The staff really made this stay special… particularly the restaurant staff. We arrived and had no trouble parking - I think if busier it could be an issue. The check in was smooth and the receptionist were really helpful. The room was lovely - the hotel and the grounds are stunning. Food was exceptional as was the service. Property is a little tired and could do with some decorating. Careful when purchasing drinks from the bar as some bar staff will charge for service ( I’d understand more if they bought the drink to me in the lounge), only noticed when the same round of drinks were different prices. It’s a nice place in a good location, taxi into Bath is around £10. Staff are friendly enough.

Hotel has great character and presence. Getting a tad tired overall but remains our Bath hotel of choice for location, spacious rooms and spa facilities, especially the outdoor spa pool which is most relaxing. Easy parking, healthy and pleasant walk in Bath and local restaurants have choices for all tastes.
