Seemed short staffed as waited over 20mins for staff to clear broken glass in bar/dining area. Maid entered room without knocking 1st while we were still in bed. Signs of mould in shower.

Overall, the room was good and comfortable. However, the experience would have been better if the reception staff had been more helpful. We had booked a room with breakfast included, but for some reason breakfast was not available to us. When we raised this at reception, there was a lack of clear information, and we were not properly informed that our booking was not listed for breakfast. Better communication and support from reception would have improved our stay.

Arrives at the hotel to find covered in scaffolding (was not informed construction was being carried out at the hotel when booking was made.) Room was clean etc. Saturday morning was woken up at 08.00 by scaffolders dismantling scaffold outside the window it was like staying in a building site the noise and vibration was unbearable. Spoke to front desk who said we could change the room but it would probably be the same in that room too I had to go out and speak to one of the scaffolders to ask if they would be doing work outside our room on the sunday as the hotel manager had a couldnt careless attitude.Customer service is diabolical. We had no chice but to go out earlier than we wanted as it was impossible to stay in the room. and after a late night on friday we were looking forward to a few relaxing hours in the morning. Arrived back Saturday evening to find that no tea, coffee milk replenished there was only 2 satchets of coffee on the friday had to go to reception where they had to try and search for long life milk was given the dregs left in the bottom of a carton and some coffee satchets. No cleaning of the room on Saturday. No clean towels etc. I have stayed in better hostels to be honest. Disgusting would never stay in a moxy hotel again.

Nothing stood out particularly. The room was clean. Tea and coffee making facilities were avaliable. All met our overnight stay requirements.The one thing that let it down which was that, there was no soap or shampoo available for showering, the containers were empty!

I found my stay frustrating. We were woken up at 2300 by staff coming into our room while we slept without knocking. Claimed to be checking the room. Getting woken up is one thing but having them just enter while we slept really scared my partner and I had to yell at them as they entered. Shower had no shampoo or body wash. Neither had been replenished. TV was not tuned to half the channels. Overall just a really sad stay and I would not and cannot recommend.

Room was too warm during the night and the temp couldn't be controlled.Was unhealthily hot. If we had opened the windows there would have been road noise. Had food in the evening. Pizza crust was very hard. I had falafel. There was 6 of them and they were too hard. I persevered but the final one was like a rock. I told a staff member and she apologised and said ahe would tell the chef. Overall, the food was not up to standard and not worth the money.
