On first impressions the hotel appears to be very nice, but we experienced such a lack of attention to detail that meant we had a bad stay It started with the superior package being missing from the room despite having paid extra. Having complained about this they then went on to forget the newspaper I requested to be delivered in the morning. Cleaner knocked on the door early to wake us up despite having the 'do not disturb' sign clearly displayed on the door handle. We were not told that we needed a code to leave the car park and so stuck at barrier trying to leave - the intercom then connects to the 'Tesco Mobile Voicemail Service'. We also had little sleep due to the thin walls which meant we were kept awake by neighbouring rooms and noisy guests in the corridor. Luke warm breakfast and cold plates. On the plus side the room was large, very clean and well decorated. Only issue here was a faulty plug in the sink. On checkout we were not asked how our stay was and so I didn't bother to feedback. We just wanted to leave at this point but to then get stuck at the barrier was just comical and summed up the entire stay.

Lovely service provided at check-in, even moving our family room to a quiet part of the hotel without us having to even ask (it was christmas party season!). Breakfast was great. Quality food at the buffet, and the staff were engaging and great with our kids. Thank you!
