Comfortable enough but a few issues!

It didn’t start well. Half an hour in reception waiting for them to acknowledge my booking. They accepted that the fault wasn’t at my end. It was their systems… but despite booking and paying a month earlier, I was still left waiting for half an hour with my bags in reception waiting for them to deign to give me a room. There room itself is comfy enough… small but comfortable, clean, good nights sleep, etc. I’d expected to be deprived of a kettle.. less so any kind of cup or glass to get a drink in the middle of the night. Not sure if that was deliberate or an oversight, but i didn’t fancy a trip to reception at 2am to find out. I ended up drinking directly from the tap, as my water bottle wouldn’t fit under it. So… okay, but not very welcoming.

Lovely room

Got a fabulous night's sleep, would have liked a desk, chair, sitting on bed to do some things in daily life is a bit frustrating, even if a pull out attachment to the wall, small facility downstairs, for snacks but I'm not a cashless fan so, I went out to spread the cash outdoors, overall fantastic location, service, friendliness, perfect, great stay thank you! Don't take pics of rooms by the way nothing personal

Not worth it

I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the unacceptable conditions during my recent stay at your establishment. Throughout my stay, I was forced to request towels on a daily basis, as housekeeping failed to attend to my room even once. This level of neglect is entirely unprofessional and falls well below the standards expected of any reputable accommodation. Moreover, the condition of the bedding was wholly unacceptable — both in terms of cleanliness and overall maintenance — raising serious concerns about hygiene and guest safety. Given the significant lack of basic services and the poor condition of the facilities, I do not believe the experience was in any way reflective of the amount I paid. I left feeling extremely dissatisfied and frustrated, and I will not be returning in the future. In light of these issues, I am formally requesting a partial refund as compensation for the substandard service and conditions. I trust you will treat this matter with the seriousness it deserves and respond accordingly. I trust you will take this feedback seriously and take immediate steps to ensure future guests are treated with the standard of care and respect that should be expected from your establishment.

Didn’t realise until arrival that they require a pending hold on your card, which means practically you’re £30/40 down straight away, until they, after a while in my case, release the hold. I came across a rather rude receptionist who was just insulting due to my reasonable surprise in that matter and my need to rearrange some funds due to the unmentioned hold. Wouldn’t stay again
