Nice hotel, Shame staff felt it appropriate to hassle me for payment despite being a regular client and not being anywhere near as helpful as they had been in the past. Won’t be returning. Hotel du vin is a lot better all round

Large room very clean. Only one small window quite high with a view you wouldn’t want to see. Everything worked although a few things were a bit tired. Smart rather than welcoming styling but free soft drinks etc in the minibar. Staff very helpful. Restaurant ok rather than outstanding and food prices high.

Excellent hotel for a city break

Pros: Decor
Cons: Room doors banging when closed, especially at 5am
Location: Ideal for a night out at City Hall
Good value for money for an overnight stay. Excellent choice offered for breakfast.

Gorgeous hotel close to shop's

Gorgeous hotel in the perfect location. It's close to all shops,restaurants and nightclubs. The room was a great size spotless bedroom and en suite , bed was the perfect size and so comfortable. Staff where so helpful and friendly also extremely welcoming nothing was to much trouble Will definitely be returning for a longer duration.

Very good

Nice room, newly converted hotel. Shower excellent. Staff helpful. Room was a little cold but once I worked out how the aircon worked it was fine. Breakfast slightly underwhelming, the tablecloths were brown plastic material which looked cheap. Cooked items were fine, esp the mushrooms.

Fantastic location with wonderful room

Great hotel in the heart of historic Newcastle - our room was large, well decorated, equipped with free Aveda toiletries and complimentary ale, soft drinks, chocolate and water. The balcony was superb, we would have loved to experience the fantastic breakfast overlooking the city rooftops but sadly it was slightly too chilly. Our only regret is that we were only able to stay one night, long enough to enjoy a couple of great cocktails and to be enchanted by the city and wonderfully friendly people, luckily it's likely we will be back to visit our son at uni so can explore further and if so the Indigo will be our base of choice.
