Great location and recently refurbished but needs some refinement if the refurbishment undertaken. With those done this would be a great stay.

Lovely hotel, with great room and location. Staff from reception through to breakfast service were friendly, welcoming, and could not do enough for us. Will definitely return.

Arrived early after 4 hour journey. Advised room would not be ready until 3pm. Swapped evening meal for lunch as needed to be at utility arena for 5pm therefore evening meal no longer an option. Lunch cost an extra £40 as we had fries, bottled water and starters which had a supplement which we were not advised of. Lunch if you include we had already paid for 2 course evening meal as part of the booking turned out to be rather expensive. I also understand the room was ready before 3pm as staff member advised us newly refurbished floor we were staying on had only been completed the day before and no one else had used the room - we were the first. Guessing hotel has policy not to let you in earlier than time confirmed on booking. Staff super but disappointed overhaul with lunch and room availability.

Room was not well equipped, a "luxury" hotel should have a coffe pod machine, a walk in shower and plenty of sockets, which this room did not.

Not my favourite Malmasion Hotel

Staff are very hit and miss, bar staff and restaurant couldn’t be more helpful however, bar manager was the most miserable stuck person I’ve came across in hospitality and reception staff are also hit and miss.
