Toilet made so much noise all night. The night porter was a good lad and tried to fix it. But he couldn't. Then a delivery right outside my window had me up at 0615. Which is ideal after a night where you were kept up from a broken toilet. I will never use best western again. It used to mean quality

This was our first stay at this hotel and we were both impressed the parking and access are very good and the overall presentation is of a high standard we were greeted by Ian who is a really nice gentleman who had time to chat to us the rooms are really nice although the room we stayed in (116) was a little dated and a bit tatty around the edges but nothing that would put us off staying again the room was quiet and peaceful with a nice bed and linen and the shower was nice and hot with the added bonus of lovely body wash hand soap and shampoo , we paid for breakfast with our booking which I would advise to do as it is an &11 pound added extra and was well worth it you can have continental which had quality ham and cheeses and a full English which we both had and it was very good indeed with obvious quality to the ingredients used with a view over roker and the pier perfect a big shout out to Raj who looked after us for breakfast she was excellent , we also had a few drinks in the bar which is a really nice cozy place with an extensive bar so to sum up I would definitely recommend staying here the location is stunning and the overall experience was really good

The room was clean and we love the hotel as it is wnere we got married 2 years ago so have spent both anniversaries at the hotel. The majority of staff are polite. The only problem we find is that the hotel is always too hot.

Rotten pineapple was on the buffet, dirty plates, cold water for tea. Very limited choice. Food looked as it was leftover from previous day. Coctail served in huge glass with tons of ice which diluted the taste completely. Most uncomfortable mattress, woke up with back ache. Cold water in the shower at 22.00. Very noisy plumbing system.

Spotlessly clean, and comfortable. Sea view was great, even with the poor Northern weather. I ate at the Italian next door and decided to leave breakfast due to an early start so cannot comment on the food. The staff are great, and very helpful. I recommend the Roker.

The room was small and cramped. Most staff were not pleasant to talk to, except the lady in the breakfast room. also one books multiple days and only gets a bottle of water on the first day. What's that about?
