Do not stay here. There are so many better options. One staff member was great, but another was impolite, rude and not in the least bit helpful. The Expedia advert is misleading, suggesting that the swimming facilities are available with the basic booking. Parking fees are excessive and the car park was chaos. We arrived at the venue and got ready to go to the gym only to find it was closed for refurbishment; we had not been notified. We found a much nicer hotel nearby, the Hilton does not offer value for money, good customer service or a relaxing environment. We checked out after checking in and are pursuing a full refund through Expedia. The Hilton have contunued to take payments from our credit card. The Hiton are refusing a refund even though we have written confiramtion of the offer of a refund as an email written by the duty manager.

We had a lovely time at the Hilton.We came for the Cricket and found the hotel to be a perfect choice. The Receptionist was very helpful. Room was lovely. We had breakfast and that was really good quality and good value. If your down this way give yourself a real treat and stay at the Hilton West End

Fire alarm alert False alarm. APOLOGY ACCEPTED

All was well until we were woken for a fire alarm. Being elderly it was quiet a struggle getting down all the stairs on hotel plus stairs to meeting point in car park. I think it would be a kind gesture for the hotel to offer a free breakfast the next day we really had a job getting back to sleep and it seems it was a false alarm. I’m sure the hotel which had hundred of guests in the car park at 11.30 at night could have done more than an apology popped through the door the following morning. Kind regards Margaret Hasted. This hotel is located inside the cricket stadium. I did not know that. It was fine and the rooms were very nice. The breakfast was excellent. It was a little far from downtown and restaurants but that was ok.
