We stayed on the 18th January and the gentlemen that was on reception gave us a very warm welcome, was very polite and gave us all the information that we needed. The room and facilities was very nice, bed and pillows were comfortable. The bathroom was quite dated compared to the room itself, there was a stain on the shower curtain. Good value for money.

Very walkable, available taxis, and very helpful staff! We left out luggage there for both a late and early checkout, they were very nice! Shout out to Louis for being so cool.

They staff were all really friendly and efficient. The booking and paying was not good at all. I had paid upfront and they asked for it again. I was double charged for food and when I queried it I was refunded but it takes up to 6 days! If I hadn’t queried it, they would have taken it. The hotel blamed Expedia but I am not so sure as this is the second time! This spoiled my stay!

Reception check in disappointment :(

Great overall stay in good location. No free parking is always a drag. However, lots of paid for parking can be found. I used Your Parking app and found a space within a few minutes walk of the hotel. Check in wasn’t smooth even though I pre paid for 5 nights and completed the pre-registration online before my stay. Check in took over 20 mins while the receptionist kept repeating the check that I had indeed pre-paid! 4 other couples passed me with smooth check ins while I had to stand at the side and wait and wait! I think this is because I’m a young looking professional and the receptionist didn’t seem to believe me that I was who I said even though I had ID that matched the booking. This is a shame as I need hotel stays frequently. Apart from this issue, I loved my deluxe room and general hotel facilities. Food: I would wish to see more gluten free options available in the restaurant as I had to order from just eat each night and eat in my room which isn’t as relaxing as a meal in the restaurant after a days work.

Excellent location for city centre, Hospiality tray had no bucuits, was not refilled. Room was not serviced despite speaking to staff. Hotel was dissapointing, especially as we had stayed before at the other Leonardo Grand in West Quay, Southampton which was excellent. Overall adaquate

Not given a free drink voucher

This has always been our hotel of choice, and each time we visit, we expect to receive a complimentary beverage coupon for the lounge. I noticed many guests enjoying this benefit during our stay. When I inquired about our voucher, I was informed it was only available for executive suites, which we have been upgraded to in the past as loyal customers. I asked if an upgrade was possible this time, but was told no, and as a result, we did not receive the drink voucher. I was quite disappointed by this experience.

Great southampton stay 👍

The hotel is excellent value, with great staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a good bathroom. The restaurant and bar has a great variety of food and drinks, all in all its the place to stay when visiting Southampton.
