Excellent for a one night stay prior to a cruise. Hostess was very responsive and helpful. Disliked nothing but was not aware that my room would be upstairs, a flight of many stairs so that my main suitcase spent the night downstairs.

Second time staying at Hunters Lodge. Roddy is one of Britain's true gents. A dying breed in my opinion. Well spoken, polite and a pleasure to talk to. I'll definitely stay again

Simple efficient self check in, good communication via email and app messages beforehand . Rooms are a little dated but very clean and well maintained, beds comfortable and showers hot and powerful - overall a great place for the price charged and I'll happily stay here again when I'm in the area.

The shower was cold and had to be run for about 10 minuetes before any hot water came through. I dod the same in the morning and it took even longer. The bed was comfortable and Roddy was helpful. I would stay again as itbis comfortable and convenient
