The gentleman on the desk when we arrived was very helpful and friendly. The room was basic but adequate for the low price. We stayed in (I think), room 216 and the door was playing up and wouldn’t close properly so this could do with being looked at.

Very clean. Was impressed my bins and towels were changed daily. Made stay better as was for work and good to come back each night to tidy room. Thank you to Housekeeping, they were friendly and reception people were friendly. Guy with beard and younger woman with short black hair. Quiet place too so good sleeps. Very easy from coach station to find, and train too.

The breakfast was buffet style. Did not look attractive in vivo compared to the illustration. Went to Macdonalds instead. The staff were clinically capable. I T glitch on arrival had reception apologising repeatedly. That was the only genuine interaction. The room is a design tour de force. Shoe horning a comfortable room into a shoe box. With a retail park adjacent nipping out for forgotten toothpaste was a breeze. The decor needs refreshing. But that’s my only negative. For the price it’s excellent value.

The staff were really nice and welcoming and my room very clean, but the hotel corridors and room stank of stale takeaway food unfortunately, and it was noisy, luckily there was a fan I could put on to disguise all the coming and going from other guests. And although I’d paid for breakfast by the time I came dow at 8 there wasn’t anything left except some apples an the coffe machine, all pastries and anything else you’d expect with a continental was gone.
