Everything was excellent - the reception staff were very helpful. The bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept in. If we go to Southampton again we will certainly book the Harbour Hotel

Great location to get to cruise port. Lovely room and friendly staff. We felt the price of breakfast was too expensive, and the meal choices for dinner in the bar were very limited. Thankful for the shuttle to get us to the port. Comfy bed, very clean room and lovely view

Overnight hotel stay before heading on a cruise

My wife and I stayed there overnight before heading on a cruise from South Hampton to Spain and Portugal. The hotel was outstanding and close to the cruise port. The food in the restaurants were delicious and amazing.The room was extremely clean and the bed super comfortable. The overall hotel amenities were above and beyond the norm. Very convenient to cruise port. Nice on site restaurant with others close by and walkable. Lovely outdoor rooftop outdoor space. Somewhat chaotic during check-in and checkout. Lobby area quite tiny.

The staff at the hotel were extremely rude and they acted like they were above us. They ignored us and we always had to get up to get someone's service. It is an upper-class hotel and restaurant. However, just because we were tourists and not their frequent customers, they did not care about waiting on us. They had no idea of our income level.
