Friendly, polite and helpful staff. Room was clean and modern. Shower was not very powerful and loose on the wall. Water overflowed onto bathroom floor. Breakfast was of a very low standard in quality and taste. The sausage is the worst i have ever had.

Ideally located within easy walk of the city centre and Barbican centre. Plenty of places to eat in the locality. Room is spacious,bathroom had decent shower and all was clean. Breakfast is self service with a good variety of food. Would stay again which is always the measure.

Checking in staff were friendly and helpful, we were able to leave our luggage before our room was ready. The twin room was nice and clean, bed was comfortable. Overall the staff were very friendly and welcoming, will definitely be stay again.

The hotel is very clean, staff are really polite and helpful, good breakfast, great location for exploring York centre. Only complaint is the sofa bed. We were a party of 3, and the sofa bed was just the sofa itself (very hard) with a thin mattress topper placed on top. Really needs a proper mattress if it's being used as a bed. Other than that a great stay.

No, at one point no forks for a while, only scrambled eggs, bacon was so hard it couldn’t be cut with a knife, but as breakfast was complimentary didn’t feel as if I should complain
