Great stay!

Great stay. Location was very nice and central to all sites. Nice and quiet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable, bathroom more spacious than most and the amenities were great.

A brilliant location, great breakfast choice. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The bathroom was spotless. We enjoyed 2.5 days of exploring York on foot (stayed 3 nights at this hotel).

We would absolutely stay here again! The hotel was amazing, from the decor to the staff. The welcoming scent and cleanliness of the hotel were immediately noticeable. Our room decor was lovely, and we were particularly impressed with the spacious bathroom. We arrived early, so the staff kept our belongings until our room was ready. When we returned much later, our room was ready, and our bags had already been delivered. The town and city walls are just a short walk away. We booked a table at The Tomahawk Steak House while sitting on our bed in the hotel. The time for our table was in five minutes, so we briskly walked there and were in the restaurant within ten minutes, it’s that close to everything. The bed was comfortable, and the rainfall shower head in the bathroom was a nice touch. There was even a 24-hour pizza menu in the room. The only two things we noticed were; the noise outside on Saturday night. There was shouting and a few loud vehicles, but it wasn’t directly in the centre of town, so we assumed it was an isolated incident. And, there wasn’t a breakfast menu online or in the room. The downstairs continental breakfast looked really nice, but we couldn’t find any details from our room, so we skipped it and went into town for breakfast instead. We would highly recommend this hotel for your York city stay!

The safe in our room wasn’t on a level surface so the door remained in a fully open position, with the possibility of banging into it. we raised it up with 3 or 4 teabags so it would just pop closed.

Excellent stay

Excellent stay , only for one night but could of stayed there for a week , room was so big and very clean , staff were very friendly and always smiling only a short walk from town centre
