Weekend break away

Myself and my wife had a lovely time exploring york . The hotel was very comfortable. The staff were helpful. The only issue we had was trying to get the temperature right in the room .

Hotels.com equals bad rooms

Really small, smelly room. Every time I use hotels.com I get an awful room. I wil not be using hotels.com after my final booking.

Great hotel.

Overall it was a good stay. Water pump cut out on fri morning so no toilet and shower. Came back on later. This is the only reason i took one star off. Sunday morning again toilet took ages for the tank to fill to flush. Overall i would recommend the hotel. Ps. Get someone to fix water pump.

5 minutes walk from York station! Recommend paying extra for river facing room - patrons from club accross the street get very noisy at night.

Automated check in not working properly - and 1 member of staff to help around 15 people. Staff in bar & restaurant really slow & struggling to cope with only a few customers. Bed REALLY uncomfortable and heating not working properly.
