Christmas stay over

Very festive beautiful deco, it felt so cosy .staff very cheerful and very helpful .very comfy bed and clean couldn't fault the place had a fantastic time and the lady who cooked our breakfast was so lovely as was the perfect breakfast. free parking .close to all amenities.will be going back .thankyou all .

Great Location for the town centre

Comfortable and good food.

Our stay at the Exhibition Hotel was very comfortable, easier access to the places we wanted to visit ,the food was good and breakfast very fresh and filling, we had a lovely time and will definitely go back there again!

Two nights marathon weekend

York marathon on my birthday so missed breakfast Sunday but Monday was ok even a tad earlier so I could get on the road home. High level of attention to detail room was amazing comfy bed quiet slept well. Well located and parking a tad confusing but got there in the end. Biscuits coffee was plenty and ended up a solo trio as my partner was not fit to come with me due to long drive ….

Although we visit York often, This is the first time staying at the exhibition, the staff were very friendly and helpful from arrival until we left, especially Joe who checked us in and showed us to our room. The room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast was excellent and the whole atmosphere was very welcoming. After just one night there we booked to come back and stay again! Thankyou to everyone at the exhibition for making our trip to York a memorable one 🤗

All the staff were welcoming and friendly. The breakfast exceeded our expectations as the choice on the menu was huge. Our room was so hot but we welcomed the fan provided. Location was excellent we were minutes from York Minster.

Front door locked on arrival.

Would've been nice to have been informed there was a private function on during the day. We arrived to the front door locked. Was actually intending to eat there before checking in so consequently had to drag our bags with us on a baking hot day to eat somewhere else. On arriving back at about 2.30pm there was a note on the door to say 'closed due to private function'. No word for how to access. Went to the back and luckily a staff member saw us and asked if he could help. We then had to walk past all the bridal party in the yard area at the back, and again when we wanted to leave.
