Facilities did not work, low standards of cleanliness, curtains falling apart. Soft bed and hard pillows that smelt. No lifts on my block and I was staying on 4th floor. Complicated room layout. The positive was that the area was quiet.

Upon arrival we were keys to a room, which had already been allocated ! We were quickly given keys to another room. The room was basic and dated, but we only needed somewhere to lay our heads for the night. Tea/ Coffee sachets were damp: shower took 10minutes to warm up: walls paper thin - we could hear next door conversation word for word!

The sheets were dirty, the shower wasn't working, transferred to another room shower again wasn't working.Sheets are changed now every 3 days.what if someone has slept in them already.Not booking there again.

I’ve stayed in Birmingham many time but this hotel takes the biscuits. It’s extremely run down and looks closer to the resemblance of flats within a run down council estate. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly though. The rooms are terrible.

Excellent rooms and breakfasts

Shabby outside, but fresh and modern interiors. For half the price of a chain hotel it was very hard to beat. Excellent and huge breakfast too, but be sure to prebook it!
