The hotel was lovely (the parts you could see), the manager and staff were excellent couldnt do enough for you, the food was so good, HOWEVER you do not go to hotel for the staff, you go to relax, we could not do this, the room on entering was beautiful, but we soon found out the hard way, it was terrible experience, the mattress was so badly blood stained over 10 inches circle with no mattress protector, just thin sheet on top of stain, manager changed mattress instantly, but on second mattress that was all sagged, the base was also damaged with missing wheel and also blood stained, the manager changed mattress again no3 and base, under floor was confetti and malteeser chocolates, after recieving 3rd mattress and 2nd base, got in bed after putting x 2 sheets on, as no mattress protectors, the tuffs on mattress come through sheets and cut my elbow, the bed was so hard and old and room was freezing, we got no sleep, to top it all off, our room was over function room and a party was blurting out music, very loud music, until gone 12pm

Despite a late arrival time following a flight from Egypt we were met with politeness and shown where our room could be found. The room was spotless and large. There was abundant parking and breakfast was superb with a large selection hot food and cereals plus tea, coffee and fruit juice. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I think the builders forgot to use soundproofing when the hotel was built. The floors in the rooms either side of mine made a noise every time someone walked around. When next doors toilet was flushed I could clearly hear it and the gent coughing next door sounded as though he was in my room. A bad smell coming from the shower waste and Luke warm water from the shower in the morning. I think that will do.

Noisy due to several factors, road noise, aeroplane noise and guest noise! The walls are like cardboard and you can hear people walking up n down the stairs due to there being plastic runners on each step, hence we didnt get much sleep. On a plus note, rooms were clean, staff friendly and food good.

Great Hotel. Recommended.

Pros: It was an easy stay.
Cons: Perhaps labelling the switch for the heater will be helpful and more hooks in the room.
We were in room 41. Overall it was a hassle-free 1 night stay. Parking is free and ample. The room was basic and clean, next to the stairs. You could hear the stairs creak from the room every time someone walks on it. Might be hard for a light sleeper,

Great for a stop over

Pros: Great food and wine
Cons: Stopped here a few times over the last few years and the rooms are looking a bit tired with essential maintenance required -bathroom door hanging off
Good sized room with comfy bed. Great restaurant with food at very reasonable prices and fair priced wine. Excellent breakfast with a good selection of hot and cold food.

Great if you like saunas

Was given attic room with roof window. Not a problem until on going to bed that the window couldn't be opened as the handle was broken off meaning that there was no ventilation at all. The room became unpleasantly hot and humid overnight meaning that I hardly slept. The window also didn't have a blind so the car park lights were annoying. Good job it wasn't summer! They had 'helpfully' provided a fan so I guess the window has been broken for a while.I guess I should have been more suspicious when I found the door ajar on arrival.
