Good location but very much let down by restaurant

Hotel is great location and staff were friendly. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and breakfast 2 mornings. The cutlery was very dirty on every visit. Lots of tables with dirty plates and we had to stand waiting in middle of restaurant while they cleared and cleaned a table for us. It was very disorganised. Breakfast on the second morning was very poor. Very little food left and nothing being topped up for the many guests still arriving for breakfast. Buffet stations were a mess. I would stay again only for the location but give the restaurant a wide berth. Disappointing.

Our room was not clean I went to reception and asked they still didn’t clean. Also very loud had a kid with additional needs and they charged us extra 20 pounds to check in early!

The hotel was in a good location & all areas we used looked top notch. We didn’t get to use the pool or gym this time unfortunately. The only negative we had was the pillows were not that comfortable & we didn’t sleep that great. This is a personal opinion & would not stop us returning.

It was my first time visiting Glasgow, and I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton. The service was excellent—especially the front desk staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is also conveniently located, with shops and restaurants just a short 5–20 minute walk away. I would definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel, cleanliness not up to my standards

The hotel and the room itself was nice, and the bed very comfortable, however the cleanliness of the room left quite a lot to be desired.. and when I popped down to the wellness centre, and tried to ask for some guidance on where I can find everything, the receptionist wasn't very helpful.
