Unbeatable location, great modern rooms

Stayed here 2 weeks on business, the friendly staff gave me a larger room due to the length of stay which was a nice touch. Inside it's a great modern hotel, great breakfast, rooms modern and spacious. When re-entering the room the TV automatically switches on to a looped video of a fishtank with zen music, which never ceased to amuse me. Importantly the windows are modern and sound-proof so you don't hear the city noise. Admittedly the area right outside the hotel is a bit rough, but the location is unbeatable: right next to Glasgow Central train station, a few minutes from the subway, close to stops for the airport bus. If you're attending an event at the conference centre it's a pleasant 30 minute walk along the river, or 2 stops on the train. Would definitely stay again when next in Glasgow.

Comfortable and great location

A great location right beside the Glasgow Central railway station. It’s walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants and shopping. Easy check in and friendly staff. Room was not big but very comfortable. Great bathroom. Breakfast is available for a fee. There’s a very nice bar off of lobby. We’d stay here again.

Solid Stay

Fun lobby, solid breakfast but not included in cost of stay. Very easy transport to the airport and right near the train station. Not the coolest neighborhood- kind of like staying in midtown Manhattan which I would not prefer. Room cleaning process wasn’t clear so it did get messy and it seemed like it got cleaned randomly. But, overall would stay again. I’ve stayed at Motel One before the one in Munich is awesome so it’s a solid chain.
