Average basic hotel
Hotel was fine enough but very basic. Floor was very dirty - I put fresh socks on and had to change them half an hour later they were so filthy. Bathroom was clean. Bed was firm but okay, pillows were nice and fluffy. No tea/coffee making facilities in the room which isn't ideal. Reception staff were very friendly. Discounted parking available at a multi-story car park 5 mins walk away. I would maybe stay again but only if the issue with the dirty floor was resolved.
I stayed at Point A as my base to explore Glasgow, prior to walking the canals to Edinburgh. I really liked the modern room which was perfect for just me. The bathroom door didn't close very well, but other than that I enjoyed my stay.
Excellent for a night or two in Glasgow . Only minor complaints is I was adjacent to a service room so my wall was thumping everytime work was being done.
The room was small with no window! The key stopped working on the third day. No one cleaned the room or took out the garbage the whole three days we stayed! The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was continental with sliced ham, Swiss cheese, and hard boiled eggs.
Room is disappointing. This is more of a micro hotel, with about 2 feet's on each side of the beds. No windows in our room, although pictures was showing one at the time of the reservation, I believed that was corrected on hotel.com/expedia website since then my mentioning no windows right in the room description. Didn't like that breakfast is included when you reserve through their website but not through hotel.com/ expedia
Very easy check in. Very pleasant young lady swapped rooms so we were able to get in early gave us gooe directions and advice about our next stop.
Night desk attendant was very helpful and directed as to live music.
This hotel is well situated for city activities.
