The building is so old.The sheets and comforter were worn out.I could feel dust when I was touching surfaces in my room. There was no plastic glass in the room pr at the entrance.There was no bottled water in the room.

I traveled across the country. When I showed up, I was informed my room had been sold and there was no room available. I am partially responsible as admittedly I did not inform the hotel I would be arriving late. I take responsibility for that. I followed up to ask for even a partial refund. The manager would not even take my call and deferred to his employee the front desk clerk to manage my issue. It is not right for the hotel to collect money from 2 guests for the same room. Shame on Voyage Hotel. This is a greedy practice and a scam for a low-quality hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Positives: -Clean/Safe enough -Fast check in -Walking distance to Roosevelt Island bridge -Affordable Negatives: - $100 cash deposit (I did receive it back next morning though) -I didn’t have a fitted sheet on my bed. It was a top sheet on the bottom and just a thin blanket on top. No real sheets. - There was a black plastic bag wrapped around the smoke detector in my room and it slightly smelled like cigarettes. I let front desk know it was like that as soon as I arrived so that it wasn’t going to come out of my deposit. -Broken desk (pic)

This place is absolutely filthy. Do yourself a favor and don't book it. And honestly, think twice before using Expedia either. They were no help when I needed a refund. I expected better from both the property and the platform.

Once I got inside I felt safe. Was surprised at the $100 CASH only deposit. I’m used to doing that on a card but not with cash. Maybe I just missed it if it was on the website. Overall, I might stay here again. Decent price for a good nights sleep.

Good stay close to Manhattan

It was an amazing stay and the staff super friendly. I was just caught off-guard with the $60 cash deposit. They have an ATM there so you can withdraw but there’s a fee. Other than that the location is good, not far from the F train, close to the city and amenities are within walking distance. Bed was comfortable and the shower was a treat.
